Have you ever felt alone, like no one understands what you’re going through? Maybe you wanted to talk to someone but didn’t know who to turn to. The good news is, you are never truly alone—Allah is always near.
In Surah Al-Baqarah (2:186), Allah says:
“And when My servants ask you [Prophet] about Me, tell them I am indeed near; I respond to the prayers of the worshippers when they call me; so let them respond to me and let them believe in me so that they will be guided correctly.”
What Does This Mean?
This verse is a beautiful reminder that Allah is always close to us. We don’t need special words or a certain place to speak to Him—we can call on Him anytime, anywhere, and He will listen.
Allah doesn’t ignore anyone. He hears every prayer, every whispered hope, and every unspoken sadness. But He also wants us to trust Him and follow His guidance.
How Can We Apply This in Our Lives?
-
Talk to Allah like a friend. Whether you’re happy, sad, or confused, tell Him everything.
-
Believe that He listens. Even if you don’t see an answer right away, trust that Allah knows what’s best for you.
-
Be patient and keep praying. Sometimes, the answer is “not yet” because Allah has something better planned.
This verse reminds us that Allah is not far away—He is always near, always listening, and always ready to help. All we have to do is call on Him.
