Life isn’t always easy. Sometimes we feel sad, stressed, or unsure about what to do. In those moments, where do we turn? Allah gives us the perfect solution in the Quran.
In Surah Al-Baqarah (2:153), Allah says:
“Believers, seek help through patience and prayers. Indeed, Allah is with those who are patient.”
What Does This Mean?
This verse teaches us that when life gets tough, we should turn to two powerful tools: patience and prayer.
-
Patience (Sabr): This means staying strong and not giving up, even when things feel difficult. It’s about trusting that Allah has a plan, even if we don’t understand the plan yet.
-
Prayer (Salah): When we pray, we connect with Allah, share our worries, and ask for guidance. It brings peace to our hearts and reminds us that we’re never alone.
How Can We Use This in Our Lives?
-
When facing problems, take a deep breath and remind yourself: Allah is with me. You can pray to Allah at any time, all you have to do is ask Allah to help you and guide you. Think about Allah being with you.
-
Instead of getting angry or upset, say “Oh Allah, help me to be patient.” Remember that Allah is powerful and can help you through any of your difficulties.
-
Seek regular peace and reflection through daily prayers (salah).
This verse is a reminder that no matter what we go through, Allah is always with us. We just need to turn to Him with patience and prayer.
