Have you ever wondered why life is sometimes so difficult? Why do bad things happen, even when we try to be good? When we go through hard times, it’s easy to feel like things will never get better. But in the Quran, Allah reminds us that challenges are part of life—and they bring us closer to Him.
In Surah Al-Baqarah (2:214), Allah says:
“Do you think you will enter Heaven without experiencing the sorts of things experienced by generations before you? They experienced tragedies and hardships, and they were shaken to the point that the Prophet and other believers said, ‘When will Allah’s help arrive?’ Certainly, Allah’s help is near.”
What Does This Mean?
This verse teaches us that every believer goes through struggles—even the prophets. If life was always easy, we would never learn patience, strength, or trust in Allah. But just like those before us, we are never alone—Allah’s help is always near.
How Can We Stay Strong in Hard Times?
-
Remember that struggles are part of life. Everyone faces challenges—it doesn’t mean Allah has forgotten you.
-
Be patient and trust Allah. Just like the people before us, we may feel shaken, but relief always comes in time.
-
Keep praying and believing. When things get tough, say: “Ya Allah, I trust You.”
This verse reminds us that life’s difficulties are not punishments—they are tests that make us stronger. And no matter how hard things get, Allah’s help is always near.
